How do 5-hour and weekly quota differ?
The 5-hour window tracks short-term limits; the weekly window covers a longer period. Check both separately.
“72% left” is the remaining share of that window, not a fixed number of messages. Usage varies by task.
Do not simply add 5 hours to now
A “5-hour window” does not mean recovery happens 5 hours after opening this site. Use the reset time already displayed in your account.
Paste status in “My quota” or enter the reset date and time. Without an explicit time, the site asks you to fill it in instead of creating a false countdown.
How do I confirm recovery after the countdown?
Return to Codex and check your new quota. This timer uses your saved time and cannot confirm that your account has actually recovered.
When time is up, the recorded percentage stays unchanged and an update prompt appears. Paste a new status to refresh the percentage.
How are time zones handled?
ISO dates and explicit UTC offsets are converted to a common timestamp. Times without a zone use your browser’s local time zone.
Abbreviations such as CST are ambiguous and will not be guessed. Use manual setup and verify the local date and time.
